Happy New Year Church Family!

We wanted to start the New Year off the right way, in the Word of God. Each week we will have a different Bible verse for us to study and memorize. Our hope is for all of our church family to have many Bible verses known to memory, so they can be relied on when needed at future times. Each weekly Bible verse will be in your bulletin as well as on our Facebook page. 

 

First Quarter Bible Verses:

 

January 3rd:

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. (Psalms 119:11)

January 10th:

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

January 17th:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

January 24th:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

January 31st:

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)   

February 7th: 

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

February 14th:

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

February 21st:

That if you confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)

February 28th:

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

March 7th:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1-2)

March 14th:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

March 21st:

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

March 28th:

Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and him with me. (Revelation 3:20)
